These terms apply when you use hostedtrips.com or make a hosted/trips account. By using the site you agree to them. If you list a trip, our Host terms apply as well.

1. What hosted/trips is
hosted/trips is a list of trips, each run by a host. You book directly with the host, on the host's own site. We aren't a party to your booking, we aren't a travel agent, and we don't take payment for trips. The host is responsible for the trip, its price, its booking and cancellation terms, and what happens on it. Read the host's terms before you book.
2. Listings
Hosts write their own listings. We look at each listing before it goes up, but we can't check every detail, and we don't guarantee that a trip is accurate, available, safe or suitable for you. Prices are shown in the host's currency; "about US$" figures are approximate and change with exchange rates. Booking dates, statuses such as "Closing soon" and "Sold out", and links can change; the host's own site is the final word.
3. How the list is ordered
We never make you charge more on your own site. We take no cut of your bookings, or of anything you sell your guests afterwards. Sponsored spots are always labeled. The regular list is never for sale.
4. Your account
Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
5. Using the site fairly
Don't use hosted/trips to break the law; post anything false, hateful, harassing or misleading; send spam; collect other people's information; get around our security; overload the site; or copy or scrape the site or its listings in bulk.
6. Saved trips, alerts and trip ideas
Saved trips, trip alerts and "I'm interested" are free conveniences. Alerts stop whenever you ask. When you say you're interested in a trip idea, what happens to your details is explained in our Privacy policy.
7. Ours and yours
The hosted/trips name, logo and site design are ours. Listings, photos and videos belong to the hosts who sent them, who give us permission to show them on hosted/trips. Don't reuse them without permission.
8. Other websites
We link to hosts' sites and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
9. No warranties
We provide hosted/trips "as is". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that the site will always be available or error-free, or that listings are accurate.
10. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any trip, booking or host, or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for anything related to hosted/trips is limited to US$100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is more. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
11. If you break these terms
If your use of hosted/trips breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, as far as the law allows.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Florida, unless consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top; if you keep using hosted/trips after that, the new terms apply. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
